Élan is important to me because I know how special it is to many people. Years of students before me poured their own and original ideas into this piece of literary work. I don’t plan to let those go to waste. I hope to amplify, not destroy, and daisy-chain these ideas of both past and present, into something more powerful than they were just a year earlier.
I anticipate as a junior editor to aid in this pursuit. I hope to advance Élan’s grasp on the literary world, and hopefully create something wonderful for readers of all ages. As a layout and design member, I hope to bring forth something fresh.
